Weddings can be stressful. If you’ve ever had the pleasure &/ honour of being a bridesmaid, a groomsmen, an MC, or a parent of one of the betrothed—then likely you know the stress that accompanies having to craft & deliver (successfully, preferably) any sort of wedding reading, speech, or toast.

While there are a handful of eloquent, compelling, and naturally hilarious story-tellers roaming this planet, most of us are left speechless when the bride or groom asks us to give a wedding toast.

And so, we thought that the only decent thing to do was to compile a list of our favourite quotes & exerts from a variety of sources: individuals, poetry, literature, & popular culture (listed in no particular order).
