City guide: Vancouver's best florists

Vancouver is a wonderful place to live. Despite the rain, and there is a lot of it, there are so many aspects of the city and its communities that make it infinitely liveable, all amid the majestic frame of mountain peaks. The art, the coffee, the breweries, the beaches, the parks (in the summer)—all of these things and more make us feel extremely lucky to live and work in this beautiful city (in Gastown, nonetheless!).
One of these many things that we adore is the city's amazing bunch of florists! This group of creatives are talented, unique, and all share a mission to bring joy, no matter the occasion. These florists are five of our favourite in the city—we highly recommend that brides (or folks in need of flowers otherwise) check these small businesses out!
Evvie & Olive Floral
Evvie & Olive are located in south Vancouver. The shop specializes in unique arrangements punctuated by beautiful vessels. Founder Evelyn and her staff call up seasonal florals to create moody, beautiful arrangements that earn their acclaim not only in their beautiful use of colour but also in their complementary textures. From small bunches to huge weddings and events, Evvie & Olive have you covered. Free consultations, too!

Serpent Creative is run by the brilliant and talented Katie Fritz. Serpent was met with much fanfare in Vancouver for its natural, sprawling aesthetic that relied heavily on small "batches" of flowers drawn from small farmers in Metro Vancouver. Serpent's arrangements feel organic and a little edgy most of the time, but Fritz is just as talented when it comes to sweet, perfect, prim arrangements. Fritz also thrives with floral installations—we are obsessed.
The Bloom Room
In a similar vein as Serpent's organic bunches, the Bloom Room creates loose-feeling arrangements which celebrate the wild heart of the West Coast. They're an award winning studio that loves to work with full agency or closely with brides and grooms—whatever your dream looks like. They also specialize in botanical wearables, like crowns! Perfect for brides and flower girls alike.
Celsia Floral is famous for the florist's amazing eye for incredible, romantic arrangements. Bountiful peaches and pinks, soft whites and of course, vibrant greens act as Celsia's trademarks. From small bunches to wedding-wide arrangements, the folks at Celsia Floral are experts at creating dreamy, wistful bouquets.

We are special fans of folks like Balconi for their amazing work on a recent styled shoot that we were part of! Can you believe these moody images? Their wistful and romantic bouquets and installations are some of the best of the best.
