Our Favourite Wedding Venues in Vancouver

We're always on the lookout for gorgeous and affordable wedding venues in our city (and every city). It's tough to find the right venue sometimes—between finding somewhere unique (not another golf course!), somewhere affordable (the Vancouver Art Gallery wants how much?!), and somewhere beautiful, it can be difficult to find a venue that suits your personality as a couple.

We've looked and looked and these three venues have always stuck out to us. They're beautiful, they're pretty affordable, and they're sure to keep your guests talking about your wedding (in a good way) for months, no, years to come! Can we get married three times (to the same person, ideally)? Is that crazy?

The Bloedel Conservatory

The Bloedel Conservatory

Yes!! Get married amongst a lush tropical garden right here at home. The conservatory itself looks like a spaceship—that's a selling point for us. You can rent the conservatory for two hours at a time, before it opens, and after it closes to the public, for $380.00! Isn't that amazing? You can rent it for longer, if you'd like, but at an additional cost—which isn't posted on the parks website. This venue can accommodate up to 30 people and is perfect for a romantic and intimate wedding one gorgeous summer evening. To die for.

Union Wood Co x Bon Accord

Union Wood Co

Check out this amazing urban venue. It's tucked away in East Vancouver and provides a perfect and affordable backdrop for your nuptials. Corrugated metal draped in ivy, strung up with bare Edison bulbs, a cocktail in your hand, and a great song playing—count us in. The space also doubles as a reception venue, so no one has to go far to get partying. We love this venue!

The Law Courts Inn

Law Courts Inn

We're really freaking out about this one. The architecture at the Law Courts Inn is some of the most incredible in the city, nay, in the province! Bring your 600 closest friends for a huge celebration here among sweeping beams and glass panes. You can also rent the restaurant indoors to host your reception, or you can do both in the Great Hall, pictured. How beautiful!
