Pantone's Colour of the Year 2017 | Greenery

The outdoors and a return to nature have become something of a prevalent theme in recent months and years. Climate advocates and mental health advocates will tell oil tycoons and exhausted creatives alike to take a walk and get some more greens in the day to day. We could all use a little more serenity right now, don't you think?

Well, Pantone to the rescue.

Just as brides flocked to 2015's Colour of the Year, Marsala, and 2016's Colours of the Year, Rose Quartz and Serenity, we're anticipating an emphasis on all things Greenery-related.

According to Pantone, Greenery is meant to represent zest and revitalization: a refreshing renewal of our investments in our lives and in each other despite an often rocky and unsettled political landscape. Influence from nature plays a big part in developing new accessories at Davie & Chiyo, and we're excited to embrace these themes of vitality and passion this year!

Our leafy (save the green) favourites are the Ariadne Comb, the Phoebe Comb, and the Azalea Garter, to name a few!

You can find more wedding greenery on our Pinterest board, Garden Weddings! Think you might be inclined to work with Mother Nature on your big day? You really can't go wrong.
